Raymond Schmidt

Raymond H. Schmidt of Bonita Springs, FL and formerly of St. Paul, MN died Thursday, May 11, 2017. He had been a resident of Naples for the past 19 years coming from Dallas, TX. He was born in St. Paul, MN a son of the late Herman and Matie (Reichstadt) Schmidt.
He is survived by his partner, John Stabenau of Bonita Springs, FL ; seven children, Vicky Gjerde (Mark), Cynthia Pinder, Garth Schmidt (Terri), Michael Schmidt, Teresa Benson (Bob), Laurie Schmidt and Julie Wilcox and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores P. Schmidt on January 18, 1994.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 19, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kok Funeral Home 1201 Portland Ave., St. Paul Park, MN with services beginning at 7:00 PM.
A private family burial will be held Saturday at the Newport Cemetery, Newport, MN.
