age 73 of Cottage Grove passed away peacefully at home
on Wednesday evening February 20, 2008.
Raymond Edward Bendiske was born September 4, 1934 in Isanti County, Minnesota the son of Henry & Florence (Mickelson) Bendiske. He was raised in Minneapolis and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1952. On March 21, 1958 Raymond and Twila Ann Holmberg were united in marriage. In 1965 the couple moved to Cottage Grove. Ray worked at Armour & Co for twenty years. He retired in 1994 after twenty years of service at Koch Refinery. Ray was a member of the River Bend Auto Club since 1979. He enjoyed traveling with Twila.
Ray is the beloved husband of Twila; loving father of Brad, Jeff, Brian; and brother of Robert (Anne).
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
