Ralph McHattie

Ralph E. McHattie, age 94, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 2, 2015.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bernadine (nee Pribnow). Survived by children, Karen (Arden) Graber, Keith (Bonnie), and Barb (Bryan) Olson; five "beautiful granddaughters"; three "handsome grandsons"; five great grandchildren; sister, Emily Wolterstorff; sisters-in-law, LaVerne Benson and Phyllis Gridley; and other extended family and friends.

Ralph was a lifelong farmer in addition to being a founding member of Hampton Bank, Charter member of the Lions, lifelong member of the Acacia Lodge and Queen Esther Charter OES. Also with the assistance of his loving wife, proudly served as a treasurer for seven organizations. He dedicated many years to the Cottage Grove Crime Board, Planning Commission, and City Council.

Visitation 4-8 PM, Friday, December 11, 2015 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016 and continues Saturday, 10 AM at the church. Funeral Service 11 AM, Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Woodbury United Methodist Church, 7465 Steepleview Rd., Woodbury, MN, 55125. Interment at Cottage Grove Cemetery.
