Rachel Marie Weston was born July 2, 1971 in Redding, California the daughter of Donald & Carol (Jager) Weston. She was raised in Hawley, Minnesota and graduated from Hawley High School in 1989. Rachel was on the cross country team. On June 17, 2005 Rachel was united in marriage to Steve Washick. She was employed at United Hospital. Rachel enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, cooking, visiting her family up North, and her animals. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children.
Rachel is survived by her husband Steve; children Alyssa & Brady Christiansen, Trevor; parents Don (Barb) Weston of Detroit Lakes; Carol Weston of Menahga; grandmother Peggy Jager of Rochert, Minnesota; sister Sara (Brett Montplaisir) Berndt of Fargo, North Dakota; brothers Joe (Amy) Weston of LaVerne, Matt (Chasitie) Weston of Hawley; mother-in-law Bev Washick. She was preceded in death by grandparents, sister Becky.
Memorial Gathering 4-8 PM Thursday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80TH St. S. Cottage Grove (651-459-2875). In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to an education fund for her children.
