Peter "Pete" Morey, age 38, of Cottage Grove, formerly of Richmond, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on May 2, 2017.

Longtime employee of Dakota County.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Peter Morey, Orval and Aletha Johnston; and mother-in-law, Katie Leis. Survived by loving wife of 12 years, Krista; sons, Alex and Gary; Granny Bernice Morey; parents, Lynn and Rosalind; brother, Keith (Sarah); sister, Bethany (Jeff) Ogren; father-in-law, Terry Leis; brother-in-law, Scott (Kassy) Leis; niece, Sydney; nephews, Matt, Griffin, Brendan, Zachariah, and Jeremiah; and beloved dog, Trigger.

Visitation 4-8 PM, Sun., May 7, 2017 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016 and continues at church on Mon. at 10 AM. Funeral Service 11 AM, Mon., May 8, 2017 at Hope Community Church, 8300 Hyde Ave. S., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016.
