Pauline Boldt

Pauline K. Boldt, age 97, of Cottage Grove completed her life journey on February 28, 2020 surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Julia & Martin Katrinak; first husband, Ray Betts; second husband, George Boldt; brothers, John, Thomas, Matthew & George Katrinak; stepsons, Steve & David Boldt.

Pauline is survived by her sisters, Helen Popso, Mary Dukovic, Delores Dukovich and brother, Al Katrinak; children, Robert "Bob" (Cathy) Betts, Geralyn (Mike) Brickzin, Barb (Mark) Kryzer and Jane (Terry) O'Donnell; grandchildren, Ray, Joshua, Theresa, Molly, Kyle, Rory, Kerry, Kelcey & Matthew; stepchildren, Diane (Tom) Schmidt, Susan (Jerry) Walton, Donna Thielen, Jim (Mary) Boldt, Barb (George) Gibson, Bryan (Sue) Boldt & Joe (Christine) Boldt; Donna Proulx Boldt, Judy Schaber Boldt; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Pauline served in the WAVES (Navy) during WWII, enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, cake decorating, sewing, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. She won blue ribbons at the Minnesota State Fair for her banana bread and sewing entries. Pauline shared her time and talents with others and the Lord. She always looked for the best in people. Her kindness, generosity, strength, wisdom, quick wit and contagious smile will be missed by all who knew Pauline.

Funeral Mass 10:30 AM, Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 8694 80th St S., Cottage Grove, MN 55016 with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
