Paul D. Gaarder, age 84, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2015.
Preceded in death by wife of 50 years, Elizabeth (Yennie); parents, Andrew & Hazel (Swensrud); sisters, Adeline Rundquist and Lorraine Tobias; brothers, Arvie and Dean. Survived by children, Paul, Phillip (Vicki), Peter (Jill), Thomas (Julia), and Hope (Michael) Olson; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Arlis (Kenneth) Sylvester and Marlys Flaten.
Visitation 5-7 PM, Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN with visitation continuing at 10 AM, Wednesday at church. Memorial Service 11 AM, Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 8100 Belden Blvd., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016. Private family interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
