Patrick Richardson

Patrick “PJ” passed away on May 30, 2022 at the age of 86 in his home state of MN. In light of the medical attention he needed in recent years, he always showed courage and kept a smile on his face. PJ was a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and a friend to so many. He loved to spend time with family, fish, read the daily newspaper and solve the crossword puzzle. He also loved sweets. If there was ice cream in the freezer, it wouldn’t be there too long. He is survived by his wife Joy, their children, Patrick and Kim and their granddaughter, Isabella Anne. He is also survived by his brother Tom Richardson. His eldest brother Bill Richardson passed in July 2012. He met his wife, Joy, while working in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. They married in 1964 and soon after had two children, Patrick Clement and Kim Arlene. PJ also has one granddaughter, Isabella Anne. She was the apple of his eye. PJ was a veteran of the Air Force and extremely patriotic. It is fitting he took his last breath on Memorial Day along with many other veterans that we remembered on Memorial Day. PJ will be honored at 9 AM (meeting in Assembly Area #3 by 8:45 AM), Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
