Age 51, of St. Paul Park passed away of cancer at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday January 22, 2006.
Patrick James Doherty was born September 15, 1954 in St. Peter, Minnesota the son of John & Isabel (Swenson) Doherty. He was raised on the East Side of St. Paul and graduated from Harding High School in 1972. On August 4, 1984 he married Jenille Ellen Thompson in Edmore, North Dakota. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and movies. He was an avid sports fan who loved the Twins and the Vikings; he also liked playing softball and baseball. He also enjoyed hunting.
Survived by wife Jenille; daughters Larisa, Rachel, & Liz; brother John (Diana) of Lakeville; sisters Pauline (Charles) Royce of Pine City, Margie (Richard) Dettling of Roseville; mother-in-law Florence Thompson of Edmore, ND; sisters-in-law Lois (Brad) Myrvik of Edmore, ND, Sandy Thompson of Eden Prairie; many nieces & nephews.
Funeral Service 11 AM Thursday January 26 at CROSSROADS CHURCH, 80TH & Jamaica, Cottage Grove. Visitation 5-9 PM Wednesday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park and 10-11 AM Thurs. at church.
