Patricia Schorr

Patricia M. Schorr, 67, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, August 27, 2008 at United Hospital in Saint Paul. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at the Church of St. Rita in Cottage Grove. Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the church. Burial will be in Cottage Grove Cemetery. The Kok Funeral Home of Cottage Grove is in charge of the arrangements.





Patricia M. Schmitt was born April 20, 1941 in St. Cloud, Minnesota, the daughter of Bernard P. and Martha (Makowski) Schmitt. She graduated from Cathedral High School in 1959 in St. Cloud. She moved to the Twin Cities in the mid 1960's. She was united in marriage to Jerome J. Schorr in Cottage Grove on August 6, 1977. Patricia worked for the Target Company in West Saint Paul, retiring as the assistant store manager in 1991. She later worked for Walgreens in Cottage Grove for many years. She enjoyed camping, fishing & traveling as well as trips to the casino to play the slot machines.





Patricia is survived by Jerry of Cottage Grove, her children; Pam Behr of South St. Paul, Sandy Berres of Vandais Heights, Tim (Leanne) Press of Cottage Grove, Kim (Val) Press-Lopez of South St. Paul, Debbie (Scott) Johnson of Grant, MN, Ken Schorr of Cambridge, MN & Corrine Schorr of Hastings, 11 grandchildren; Marissa, Alicia, Bob, Jon, Shelby, Sara, Paige, Tina, Dave, Hannah & Anthony, her father, Bernard Schmitt of St. Cloud, her brothers; Tom of Florida, Bernie (Sandy) of Big Lake, MN, Gene (Judy) of Charlotte, NC, Steve (Barb) of Victoria, TX, & Gary (Joan) Schmitt of Clear Lake, MN. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Allen & her mother, Martha.
