Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, May 24, 2013. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Patty worked at Whirlpool and retired from HealthEast Rheumatology. She loved Elvis and the Vikings. Preceded in death by parents, Wylie Sr. and Gladys Garrett; and sister, Kathy Garrett. Survived by husband, John; children, Johnny (Diane), Jenny Woods, Candace (Tom) Luchsinger, Christina, Angela (Rick) Deckard, and LuAnne; many grandchildren; great grandchildren, other extended family and friends. Funeral service 12 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. all at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Grey Cloud Island Cemetery.
