Patricia Ramin

Patricia Ramin, age 82 of Cottage Grove, passed away April 18, 2018.

Funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 – 80th Street S. Cottage Grove with visitation starting at 11:00 am until the time of service.  Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minneapolis.

Patricia Ann Ramin was born September 3, 1935 in Mankato, Minnesota to Donald and Birdell (Smith) Stuve.  She grew up in Mankato where she graduated from high school and attended Mankato State University.  It was there that she met the love of her life, Gerald Ramin at a soda shop.  They were married August 2, 1958 in Minneapolis.  They lived in Albert Lea several years before settling in Cottage Grove in 1967.  Their desire was to have a large family and were blessed with 6 beloved children that they were able to adopt as their own.  Patricia loved going to the cabin, reading, bowling and her dog Claudette.  She loved her family and they thought the world of her.  She made frequent trips to the North Pole Restaurant and taking walks through Walmart.

Patricia is survived by children David (Kim) Ramin, Douglas (Lynn) Ramin, Debra (Duane) Rice, Rebecca (Paul) Revak, Scott (Danielle) Ramin; grandchildren Sara (Brent) Nelson, Laura Ramin, Shane (Mary) Knutson, Nick Ramin, Josh Rice, Ryan (Charli) Arndt, Anthony Revak, Brandon Ramin, Justin Rice, Kevin Moreno, Nathan Revak, Merissa Anderson, Katie Ramin, Amanda Ramin, Monica Revak, Kimberly Ramin, Olivia Ramin; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Phil Stuve, Donald Stuve, Helen Klugherz, Mary Jo DeGonda, Joyce Blanck, Larry Stuve and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald; daughter Elizabeth Anderson; granddaughter Torriana Ramin and her parents.
