Passed away on August 4, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by parents, Fremon and L. Bernice (nee Prince) Peterson; brother, Donald Peterson. Survived by husband of 58 years, Fred; son, F. Scott (Renita); daughters, Lisa, Karen (Michael) Harer, and Janet (Tom) Campbell; grandchildren, Anita (Bob) Wiener, Brian (Callie) Harer, Chad (Stephanie Woelfel) Harer, Colleen Harer, Ashley (Christian) Duran, Josh (Lisa) Campbell, Mitch Campbell, Zach Hartfiel, and Alex Campbell; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Judith (Richard) Davis, Virginia (Paul) Christie; and many other extended family and friends.
Visitation 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove with visitation continuing one hour prior to the service at church. Funeral Service 11 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Rose of Sharon Lutheran Church, 6875 Jamaica Ave., Cottage Grove. Interment to follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Rose of Sharon Lutheran Church.
