Olivet Nippoldt, age 92 of Woodbury died Friday morning February 4, 2011 at Woodbury Health Care Center in Woodbury.
Olivet Anna was born April 14, 1918 in Lakeland Township the daughter of George & Elsie (Jeske) Markgraf. She was confirmed on May 31, 1931 at Horseshoe Lake Church. On May 22, 1947 she was united in marriage to Harold Nippoldt at St. Johna�(TM)s Church. During World War II Olivet worked at 3M. She farmed with her husband from 1947 until 1966. Olivet retired from the school district in 1980 after twenty years as a school cook. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and loved to cook. Olivet and Harold visited many places including Hawaii, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Washington DC, Colorado, San Francisco, Nashville, Wisconsin Dells, North Dakota and Duluth.
Olivet was preceded in death by her husband Harold. She is the beloved mother of Janice (Howard) Swanson, Karen, Robert; grandmother of Katie, Robyn, Bryan, and Eric; great-grandmother of Paige, Owen, Asher, Peyton; sister of Dorsay Dornfeld; nieces and nephews.
Visitation 3-7 PM Sunday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park and 10-11 AM Monday at church. Funeral Service 11 AM Monday at WOODBURY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 7465 Steeple View Rd. Woodbury. Interment church cemetery.
