Oletta Martha Mohler
Passed away suddenly and peacefully at home on Friday Feb 25, 2011. Even though we know her spirit lives on in her Father's home she will be physically missed by her loving family and adored friends. She was a devote Christian and the corner stone of the family.
Oletta was born June 24, 1936 in Brookville township Brown County. She graduated from Springfield High School. She married Walter E. Mohler, Aug 23, 1958. They made their first home in Sleepy Eye, Mn. They moved later to Eagle Grove IA and then Des Moines IA before settling at Cottage Grove Mn.where they have lived since 1975.
Preceded in Death by her parents; Louis and Laura Stage, stepfather Fred Suess. Her sister Dorthy, brothers Arnold and Gordon Stage and sister in law Pat Stage.
Survived by her husband Walter and children; Terri Heimierman from Henderson, Vicki Hickle from Pensacola Florida, Jonathan Mohler from St Paul Park, Thomas Mohler from Lino Lakes and Ronald Mohler from Poquoson, Virginia. She embraced her family including 1 son in-law, 3 daughter in-laws, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She lived a life of faith and labor to God, dedicated service to Church and community and gave unconditional love to family and friends. She enjoyed church and family events, international and national travels, music, dancing and bowling.
Her Christian and family values will live on within her family.
Visitation Thursday March 3, 2011 from 4-8 pm at All Saints Lutheran Church 8100 Belden Blvd. Cottage Grove, MN. Funeral Service Friday March 4, 2011 at 10:30 am at the church with an hour of visitation prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to All Saints Lutheran Church.
