Norita was born August 28, 1905 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Carl & Anna (Quam) Olson. She was raised in Owatonna. On April 8, 1930 she married Harold Steven Cowley. She enjoyed family outings, reading and crocheting.
Preceded in death by husband Harold, sons-in-law Richard & Thomas; grandsons Ed & Dave; sister Evelyn; brother Carl.
Beloved mother of Dolores Giampaolo of Hastings, Joan Hunt of White Bear Lake, Patricia (Durwood) Kennedy of St. Paul Park, Rolland (Mary) of Lakeland, Lavonne (Janis) Pogulis of St. Louis Park; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
