Nona Zimmerman

Nona joined her husband Ed and her daughter Virginia (Sue) in Heaven on Dec. 30th at 1 A.M. 2008. Nona had an infection her body couldn't fight. She was singing with her family around her while at Regions. She was moved to Ramsey care Center where she received excellent comfort care.


Nona leaves behind her son Bruce Zimmerman , his wife Carol and her daughter Bette Berthiaume , 12 grand kids 24 great grand kids 16 great great grandkids.


Nona always had a song and a hotdish for anyone in need. She was a cook for many years in Newport.


There will be a celebration of her life on Jan. 10th at St. Andrews on 1000 Portland in St. Paul Park at 11:00 a.m. with lunch after the service.
