Myrna Lou Taylor

Myrna Lou Taylor passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

She is survived by her daughters, Lori (Craig) Freund of Cottage Grove and Lisa (Dan) Brookshaw of Ellsworth, WI; nine grandchildren, Mandy (Jay), Andrew, Nicole, Ashley (Jacob), Luke (Amanda), Blake, Michael, Jordan (Brendan), and Taylor; nine great grandchildren, Jason (Cierra), Faith, Mariah, Jayda, Pierce, Mace, Waylon, William, and Cali; two great great grandchildren, Kristen and Jazlynn; and brother, Jack (Jann).

She was proceeded in death by her husband and best friend, David “Duff”, and daughter, Susan (George).

Myrna spent many years working for the So. Washington School District. She enjoyed summers on the St. Croix River aboard her houseboat “Myrna T” with many family members and friends and spending winters in Florida and South Padre Island.

She will always be remembered for enjoying a glass of wine in the sunshine.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 5:00pm at Kok Funeral Home (7676 80^th Street So. Cottage Grove, MN) with visitation beginning at 4:00pm
