Morris "Moe" F. Holes, age 82, of Maplewood, died peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2016 in Woodbury surrounded by his loving family.
Preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Frances; brothers, Jerry and George; and grandson, Ki. Sadly missed by wife and best friend of 63 years, Mary Ellen; loving daughters, Melanie (Michael) Kennedy and Marisa (Jason) Becker; grandchildren, Kane, Mia, Jett, Gabriella, and Andrew; brother, John (Mary Alice); sister, Pat (Sonny) Faison; sister-in-law, Joyce; and many nieces and nephews.
Morris' career consisted of serving 9 years in the U.S. Air Force and 35 years at Donaldson Company Inc. Morris spent his retirement in his woodworking workshop, traveling, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Morris was a dedicated Eucharistic Minister at the Maplewood Care Center for 10 years.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10 AM, Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Church of St. Rita, 8694 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016. Interment to follow at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
