Died peacefully at home
With his family around him after a courageous battle with lung cancer caused by Agent Orange. Beloved husband of Jana for 33 years; loving father of Matthew (Andrea). Survived by mother Ardis Speckel, sisters Nita Davis; Karen (Harry) Marsh; Althea (Al) Heim; brothers Paul (Pam), Barry; special cousin Susan Hammock; many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins & Jana's family. Preceded in death by father Herbert. He served his country during a difficult time in Vietnam. He was known as the "Photo Guy" at Walgreens in Cottage Grove. He wanted to be remembered as a loving husband, father, son and brother. Visitation 4-8 PM Monday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Ave, St. Paul Park and 10-11 AM Tuesday at church. Funeral Service 11 AM Tuesday at ALL SAINTS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 8100 Belden Blvd, Cottage Grove. Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery. Memorials to Caring Bridge or Woodwinds Cancer Care.
