Passed away peacefully on April 7th after a courageous battle with cancer. Born November 15, 1946 in Fergus Falls, MN, Micheal grew up in Detroit Lakes and Bemidji. MN. He graduated from Bemidji High School, attended two years at Bemidji State College and graduated with a degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University. Micheal enjoyed working for the Minnesota Department of Transportation for over 42 years. Holding the position of State Signing Engineer for 26 of those years. He was an avid collector who enjoyed travelling and browsing through antique shops. Preceded in death by his parents, Willard & Virginia (nee Bradbury) Weiss. Survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sharon L. (nee Heldt); son, Christopher (Jennifer); granddaughters Abigail and Kimberly; sister Shelley (Steve) Orr; nephew Patrick; niece Stefanie, and many dear friends and relatives.
