Michael McDonald

Michael “Mike” P. McDonald, 24, of Cottage Grove,  passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 19, 2018. Survived by loving parents, Charlie & Deb; brothers, Christopher, Matthew, Benjamin, Nicholas, Andrew; grandma’s, Barbara Davis and Marlene McDonald; numerous aunts, uncles, other family and friends.  Mass of Christian Burial Thur., Jan. 25 at 11 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (749 6th Ave. S. South St. Paul) with visitation 5-8 PM Wed. Jan. 24 at Kok Funeral Home (7676 80th St. S. Cottage Grove) and one hour prior to Mass at church. Private interment Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights.

Mike was born on June 23, 1993 the eldest son of Charles & Deborah (Davis) in St. Paul, Minnesota. He grew up in Cottage Grove active in scouting and Tae Kwan Do. Mike graduated from Park High School in 2011 attending Inver Hills Community College after high school. He worked in the IT world following his interest in technology as a computer consult for 3M. Mike was strong in his faith, an avid reader, enjoyed playing disc golf, spending time with friends and a good conversation.
