Michael "Mike" Krasky

Michael "Mike" Krasky, age 66 of Cottage Grove, MN passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Michael was born on July 21, 1958 to Herbert and Doris (Jungbauer) Krasky in St. Paul, MN. He grew up in the St. Paul and Cottage Grove area graduating in 1976 from Park High School in Cottage Grove, MN. He went on to attend the Technical Vocational Institute in St. Paul before starting at 3M in which he stayed for over 25 years. Michael met the love of his life, Terrie and was united in marriage on July 30, 1988 at St. Augustine's in St. Paul, MN. They have been lifelong residents raising their family in Cottage Grove. He also completed his Computer Science degree from the University of Minnesota. After his many years at 3M, Michael began his own company called Sign-A-Rama and was a business partner in K2 Quality Exteriors for 10 years.

Through the years in his spare time Michael enjoyed bowling, softball and golf. Time with family has been the heart of his life but his most recent joy was becoming a grandpa - "Papa". He will be missed for his sense of humor, positive attitude, putting others first and the selfless love he shared with so many.

Michael is survived by his wife of 36 years Terrie; children Justin, Megan (Alex) Dravis and Amber; one grandson Benjamin and one on the way; siblings Jack (Mary), Bill, Tom, Marge (Dan) Temple and Gen (Darren) Smith; brother-in-law Al Graf and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Doris Krasky; sister Sue Graf and brother Ken.

Visitation will be from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Kok Funeral Home 7676 80th St. S.; Cottage Grove, MN. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Kok Funeral Home in Cottage Grove with a visitation from 10-11 AM. After the service, all are invited to a luncheon with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights, MN.
