Michael Johnson Sr

Michael Eugene Johnson Sr., 67 of St. Paul Park, passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee & Imogene Johnson; siblings, Frank, Susan, and Richard. Survived by loving children, Michael Jr., Leslie (Clevelen Jr.) Brogdon; grandchildren, Kayla, Bryce, Kassmirre, Lawrence Jr., Clevelen, Eboni; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Edith, Edward (Roxanne), and Theron (Phyllis);many other relatives and friends.
Michael was born on March 21 in Kansas City, Missouri to Lee & Imogene (Rather) Johnson. He graduated from Emporia High School and moved to Minnesota in 1968. He started working for West Publishing and retired from West in 2009 after 47 years of service.
Michael loved to fish, watch horse racing; in his younger years he enjoyed bowling, playing horse shoe toss, and loved his "hot rod muscle car".
He will be missed by all who considered him family and a friend.
