Michael Charles Ahlgren was born June 20, 1943 in St. Cloud, Minnesota the son of Robert & Verle (Schmidt) Ahlgren. He was raised in St. Paul. He graduated from Washington High School and the University of Minnesota. On March 21, 1970 he was united in marriage with Rosa Ling. He loved Minnesota winters, snow and holiday music.

Beloved husband of Rosa; loving father of Micah (Amber), Aric (Kristin), Theresa (Raffi) Avedian, Jason (Nikki); grandpa of Caleb, Zachary, Aylah, Rain, Ocean, Owen, Isaac; brother of Robert, Tom, John, Jim, Julie, Carol, Sue & Terri.

Funeral Service 10 AM Tuesday with visitation 9:30-10 AM at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave S., Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers memorial to American Heart Association.
