Melroy Englert

Melroy Englert, age 76 of Cottage Grove, passed away on Aug. 16, 2016.

Funeral will be 11 am, Friday, August 26, 2016 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 – 80th Street S., Cottage Grove with visitation one hour prior.

Grew up in St. Paul and spent time as a professional woodworker and furniture maker through the years. Loved following the Vikings and Gopher football teams and his pet cat Boo "Baby Girl". His family takes comfort that he is at peace now and was a loving father and compassionate grandpa.

He is survived by 4 children, David (Heather) and Kevin Englert, Heather (Paul) Royer and Justin (significant other Sherry Crenshaw; grandchildren, Christopher, Paul Jr., Benny, Sarah, Devlin, Logan and Hunter. He is preceded in death by his significant other, Gloria Krueger and one brother.
