Age 79 of Cottage Grove died Sunday evening March 16, 2014.
Mary Jane was born November 16, 1934 at Mounds Park Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota the daughter of Ray & Catherine (Kemp) Boyd. She lived in her Cottage Grove Home for fifty years. Mary was the biggest fan of her kids and grandkids sporting activities. She loved her dog & companion Rex. Mary enjoyed baking, crafting, scrapbooking and working in the yard. She found great joy in hosting and planning family celebrations and, most importantly, starting the dice game.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Ron, and parents Ray & Catherine Boyd.
She is the beloved mother of Kevin (Barb), Bryan (Fay), Terri (Ted) Steffner, Michelle (Mike) Boehmer, Pat (Denise); grandmother of Laura, Tom, Randy, Cory, Jill, Ryan, Joey, Dani, Melissa, Jamie, Chris, Jessica, Brad; great-grandsons Wyatt & Dawson; Aunt Lucille, Gordy & Kay; best friend Rex.
Visitation 4-8 PM Friday at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park. Funeral Service 11 AM Saturday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley, St. Paul Park. Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery.
