Mary Katheryn was born April 15, 1919 in Eveleth, Minnesota the daughter of Matthew & Johanna (Grad) Zadnikar. She was raised in Eveleth and graduated from Eveleth High School and attended college in Eveleth. On May 5, 1944 she was united in marriage with Brother Algot Nasstrom in Eveleth. Mary enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, fishing, jigsaw puzzles, sewing and playing harmonica.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Brother Algot.
She is the beloved mother of Sandra (August) Phillipich, Joan (Arthur) Johnson, and Nanette (Peter) Marsh; grandmother of Jodi, Tammy, Nicole, Justina, and Richard; 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation 10-11 AM Saturday with 11 AM Memorial Service at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80th Street S. Cottage Grove. Inurnment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
