Mary Kempton

Mary Y. Kempton (nee McCann), age 85, of Cottage Grove passed away comfortably at home on May 20, 2015.

Preceded in death by parents, David and Florence; siblings, David McCann and Harriet Anderson. Survived by loving husband of 62 years, Robert; children, Stephen, Jill (Dave) Woltering, and Daniel (Helen); grandchildren, Stacy (Cody) Wilkens, Kristen (Dave) Kelm, Sandi (Ryan) Nielsen, Robert (Tina) Woltering, Nathan (Jessica) Woltering, Beth Kempton (Fiancé Michael Patterson), Robert Kempton II (Heather Bagshaw), and Selina Kempton; ten great grandchildren; brothers, Charles (Terry), Daniel (Betty Jo), and Michael McCann; and many extended family and friends.

Mary was a woman with strong spirituality and determination. She lived a long and rewarding life with family always being her number one priority.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM, Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Church of St. Rita, 8694 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, with visitation beginning at 10 AM.

Interment at Cottage Grove cemetery at a later date.
