Mary Hannah

Mary M. Hannah 89 of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on Dec. 26, 2016. She was born June 25, 1927 the youngest of four to Richard & Pearl (Knutson)Martin in Bemidji, MN. After graduating from high school in 1945, she married David Hannah. After several of David's job transfers they settled in Cottage Grove in 1965, raised their family there. Mary loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading, quilting, working in her garden, cooking and baking. Mary was very involved in All Saints Lutheran Church for 40+ years.
She is survived by her loving children, Nancy (Dennis) Almer, Cathy (Charles) Cook, David (Debbie), Richard (Claudia), Bonnie ( Robert) Schmitz, Mary Hannah-Centeno, Laura, Donald; 28 grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Debbie. Preceded in death by husband, David; son Robert, granddaughter, Susan Almer; siblings, Richard, Lorraine, Kenneth; son-in-law Tony Centeno. Memorial service 10:30, Friday, Dec. 30 at All Saints Lutheran Church (8100 Belden Blvd. Cottage Grove) with visitation starting at 9:30. Memorials preferred to the Sunday School program at All Saints. A special thank you to the caring staff at Norris Square and Carondelet Care Center.
