Mary Hammerly

Mary Hammerly, 71, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

Mary lived a full life constantly embracing her family and giving so much to all she encountered. Her strength and wisdom were examples to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Arline, and two brothers-in-law.

Mary will be missed by her loving husband, Glen; son, Gregg (Stephanie) Hammerly; grandchildren, Allison (Matt) MacNabb, Christopher (Esra Yarar) Hammerly, and Aaron (Zoe Horn) Hammerly; great-grandchildren, Daphne, Calvin, and one on the way; sisters, Karen Willey, Rita (Dale) Daggett, Patricia Soland, Phyllis (Johnny) Austin, and Catherine (Bill) Pflanz; nieces; nephews; and other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be Friday, December 16 at 11AM with visitation one hour prior at Zion Lutheran Church, 8500 Hillside Tr S, Cottage Grove. Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Maplewood.
