. Marv served in The United States Navy as a petty officer in the Seabees during World War II from 1943-1946. Following his service Marvin sailed the
Great Lakes
as an engineer. On

49 he was united in marriage to Shirley McLeod in

Wisconsin
.
Marv was employed by the Minnesota Pipeline from 1955 until 1990. Marvin enjoyed gardening both vegetables and flowers. He was a man with many hobbies often building models and painting Ukrainian eggs. Marvin loved to read and play chess. He will be remembered as a man who was constantly learning. Marv was an active member of The Harbor Church.
He is the beloved husband of Shirley; loving father of Marvin “Chip” (Gloria), Jeanette (Roger), Gary (Kari), Mark; grandfather of Minsan, Maselan, Paris, Aeron, Ryan, Matt, Beth, Emaly, Quinn, Rhiannon, Sarah; great-grandfather of Clarisse, Duncan, William, Jeremiah, Zachariah, Mara, Haley, Lexi, Marin, Reice, Addyson, Gavin, Jaystin,
many nieces & nephews.
