Marty Roger Thomsen

Marty Roger Thomsen (65) passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 17th, 2025.

Born in Tyler, MN on November 4th, 1959. Marty spent most of his life as a CNC machinist. He was a devoted husband and loving father. He loved the outdoors, riding through the woods on tractors, tinkering, grilling and spending time with his family.  Marty was known best for his big heart, unforgettable laugh, and endless knowledge. His love for a good flannel and some rocking tunes was undeniable. Although his time here was short, Marty lived a full life. His love for his family, grandchildren and friends was untouchable. He will be missed by many.

Marty is survived by his small army; Jeremy (Krista) Bourasa, Jonathan Thomsen, Heather (Noelle) Howe, Jenny (Troy) Tennis, Melissa (Shala) Thomsen and Mandy Thomsen. Grandchildren Ellie, Natalie, Gaven, Landan, Averie, Kaden, Kimberly, Colby, Westin, Mason, Owen, McKenly, Layla, Payton, Lainey, Taven, Knox, Harper, Alivia, Harrison, and Dani.

Marty is proceeded in death by his Wife (Kimberly Thomsen), Mother (Opal Thomsen), Father (Roger Thomsen), and Brother (Randy Thomsen).

A celebration of life will be held on April 12, 2025 from 2:00-8:00 at 1407 Portland Ave, St. Paul Park, MN 55071.
