Martha Stevenson

Martha Stevenson, age 87, of St. Paul, MN. Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma & Great-Great Grandma. Passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024. 

Martha Stevenson, affectionally known as “Cookie” was born on July 17, 1937 in the city of Tickfaw, Louisiana. 

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, a loving and devoted husband, Willie Stevenson, and many other family members. She leaves behind an extended family who will miss her. 

Martha embarked on a fulfilling career in nursing where her love and compassion for others blossomed. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoyed simple pleasures, whether it was crafts, cooking or spending time with the grandchildren. 

Her laughter was infectious, and her kindness knew no bounds, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Martha’s greatest source of pride was both her family and her church family. She cherished every moment spent with them.

 As we gather to honor Martha’s life, let us celebrate the profound impact she made on our lives and the countless memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.

Funeral Service 3 PM with visitation beginning at 2 PM, Monday, November 4, 2024 at St. Paul First Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1935 Princeton Ave, St. Paul, MN 55105. Private inurnment. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
