Marion Bajczyk

Marion Julia Bajczyk, age 92 of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, formerly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away December 31, 2016 at Woodwinds Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 5:00 pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Avenue, St. Paul Park, Minnesota with visitation starting at 4:30 pm. An additional service will be held in on Saturday, January 7, 2016 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Chapel, 3801 West Morgan Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin at 10:30 am with visitation starting at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Memorials may be directed to the Arthritis Foundation or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

Marion was born May 13, 1924 in Arcadia, Wisconsin to George and Catherine (Giemza) Waletzko. She grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from St. Stanislaus High School in 1943. She was united in marriage to Richard Bajczyk on June 5, 1948 and resided in Milwaukee. Marion was a proud member of the Lunch Bunch and active with St. Alexander's Christian Women. She was a loving mother who enjoyed her children through their formative years. Richard passed away in 1988 and Marion continued to live in Milwaukee until moving to Cottage Grove to live with her daughter, Joan. In her later years, she enjoyed traveling to Florida, Philadelphia, Door County, Wisconsin.

Marion was such a kind person and even throughout health challenges she always found happiness in whatever situation she encountered. She was deeply loved by her family.

Marion is survived by her children Karen Kaczmarek, Joan Kaltenbrun, Robert (Karen) and William; 7 grandchildren Kevin (Amanda), Kimberly (Scott), Nicholas (Aislinn), Stephanie, Jennifer (Daniel), Karen, Robert; 7 great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Samuel, Solomon, Addison, Ashlyn, Desmond and Alma. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Joseph (Patricia) Waletzko.

To continue her legacy of compassion, she would encourage everyone just to be kind to one another.
