Marie V.(Dockendorf)Pawlenty, age 87 of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2012.
Visitation will be Sunday 4-8 pm at Kok Funeral Home, 7676-80th Street S. Cottage Grove with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Monday at Church of St. Rita, 8694-80th Street S, Cottage Grove with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be in the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, St. Paul Park.
She is survived by her four children, Ted Dockendorf, Helen (Wayne) Prendergast, Mike (Kathy) Dockendorf, and Dale Dockendorf; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; five step-children; Peg (Bob) Stevenson, Steve (Corinne) Pawlenty, Rose (Rick) Atkinson, Dan (Debbie) Pawlenty; Tim (Mary) Pawlenty; 12 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Theordore Dockendorf and second husband Eugene Pawlenty.
