Marie Krech

Marie A. Krech, age 86 of St. Paul Park, passed away peacefully at her home on February 3, 2017.

Memorial service will be 11:00 am, Friday, February 10, 2017 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 – 80th Street S., Cottage Grove, with visitation one hour prior. Private interment will be held at a later date at Newport Cemetery.

Marie Ann Krech was born May 22, 1930 to Nicholas and Hazel (Foster) Snyder. She was married to Alvin Krech on May 27, 1950 and they lived in South St. Paul where she worked as a waitress at Duke's Restaurant in South St. Paul for a few years. They moved to Coates for a few years before making their home in St. Paul Park in the early 1960's. She enjoyed doing embroidery and latch hook crafts and her word puzzles. She loved her family and dedicated her life to her children.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alvin Sr.; son Alvin Jr.; sons-in-law Edward Lattery and Ray Eggleston; parents; sister Margaret Wilkerson; brothers Robert, Lenard, Nicholas, Glen and Harry Snyder. Marie is survived by her children Diane Eggleston, Kathleen Zins, David and Gerald Krech; 7 grandchildren James Lattery, Tammy Morrow, Joel Howlett Jr., Kari Ekblad, Jason Krech, Stephanie Bang and Christopher Pomeran; 8 great-grandchildren Anthony and Gabriel Burnotte, Katelyn Howlett, Julia and Mason Ekblad, Braden Beverlin and Ezekiel and Zoia Bang; sister Lavon Chandler.
