Marcia Elizabeth Bailey (Stromme) of Woodbury, age 83, passed away peacefully on January 30 th , 2021. A graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy and St. Catherine’s University, she taught Physical Education in South St. Paul before starting a family. She loved many things including bridge, golf, bowling, and cheering on the Twins. She was a caring, giving, generous spirit loved by all.
Preceded in death by parents, Edwin and Marion Stromme; sister, Genevieve Krueger and brother, Ed Stromme. Survived by husband of 61 years, Rodney Bailey; daughter, Terri McEnaney; sons, Tim (Sandi) Bailey, Jerome (Julie) Bailey, and Dan (Jennifer) Bailey; sister, Shirley Bates, as well as many well-loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, St. Paul Park on Friday, February 5 th at 11:00am. Visitation will take place prior to the service starting at 9:00am. COVID protocols and masks are required. Marcia’s service will be livestreamed and available below her obituary on Kok Funeral Home’s website, beginning at 11 am.
