Mae Jule Jelinek
Mae Jule Jelinek, age 84 of Woodbury, died peacefully on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family.
A memorial mass will be 11:00 am FRIDAY, February 3, 2012 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave, St. Paul Park with visitation one hour prior. There will be a memorial gathering on THURSDAY 5-8 pm at Kok Funeral Home; 7676 80th Street S, Cottage Grove. Interment will be at the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
She is reunited with her husband of 61 years, Alois. Loving mother of Kathleen (Dean) Strauch, Patricia (Val Koehler), Cindy (Daniel) Wampach, Richard (Jeanette), John (Vicki) and Jayne (Steve) Hernandez; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Slipka and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the nurses with Allina Palliative and Hospice Care for their compassion and care for our Mom. We would also like to acknowledge granddaughter Nicole who lovingly and selflessly cared for Mom during her last months on this earth. We are forever grateful.
