Frank was born August 15, 1932 in St. Paul, MN the son of Minehardt and Leona (Schauer) Altermatt. He attended High School in White Bear Lake, MN. Frank married Nancy Schumann on May 6, 1960 in Wellington, Delaware. He loved yard work and doing things around the house. He retired from Unisys after being employed there for 30 years.
Beloved husband of Nancy; loving father of Frank (Theo) of Hugo, Robert (Linda) of Wisconson, Nancy Jo (Vern) Emerson of Eagan, grandchildren Jason (Lindsey), Jeremiah, Melissa (Chris); sister Shirley (Robert) Vierling, step-mother Laura Altermatt.
Funeral Service 11 AM Friday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80TH St. Cottage Grove (651-459-2875). Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday and 10-11 AM Friday at funeral home.
