Born 9/6/21 to Theodore & Fannie (Osterloo) Cordes in German Valley, IL. Died peacefully of cancer in her Cottage Grove home, on Monday morning 7/3/06.
Predeceased by husband Charles G.; daughter Linda J.; brother Emerson Cordes; sister-in-law Mrs. Donald Cordes.
Survived by sons Ray A. of St. Paul, Warren D. (Julie) of Mounds View; grandchildren Jeremy, Maria, Clara, Edward; brother Donald Cordes of West Des Moines; sister-in-law Mrs. Emerson Cordes of the Chicago Area; many nieces & nephews.
Active in Community United Church of Christ activities, HSI volunteer, Pineridge Garden Club, So. Washington Heritage Society, So. Washington Senior Center and A.A.U.W. Lu loved music, especially playing piano. She also enjoyed playing bridge and was actively involved in genealogy.
Funeral Service 11 AM Thursday July 6 at Community UCC, 1145 Summit Ave, St. Paul Park. Visitation 4-7 PM Wednesday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Ave, St. Paul Park (651-459-2875) and 10-11 AM Thurs. at church. Interment will take place in Litchfield, Ohio.
