Lucille H. Mausolf, 79 of St. Paul Park, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the Golden Living Center – Linden in Stillwater following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2010 at All Saints Lutheran Church in Cottage Grove, with the Reverend Jules Erickson, officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at Kok Funeral Home, St. Paul Park. Burial will be in Newport Cemetery.
Lucille H. Mausolf was born July 7, 1930 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of Joseph and Isabel (Forcier) Handwerk. She attended Humboldt High School growing up in Saint Paul. On September 18, 1948 she was united in marriage to Kenneth T. Mausolf. The couple made their home in St. Paul Park where she raised her family. She especially enjoyed her family and her grandchildren, had a good sense of humor with quick wit. She enjoyed painting crafts, traveling to Alaska & Canada and Polka dancing. Lucille is survived by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth T. of St. Paul Park, sons; Reuben (Bonnie) Mausolf of Stillwater, Ken (Phyllis) Mausolf of Cottage Grove, Joseph (Patty) Mausolf of Welch, Bob (Deb) Mausolf of Cottage Grove & Ron (Sue) Mausolf of Becker, 13 grandchildren; Reuben Jr., Tronnier, Ken, Jesse, Michelle, Jason, Jill, Joseph, Chelsey, Robert, Ryan, Ronald & Matt, 6 great-grandchildren; Samantha, Jordan, Alisha, Brody, Joey & Isabel, her sisters; June Twardy of Inver Grove Heights & JoAnn (Al) Johnson of Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
