Lucille Jones

Lucille Margaret Jones (Heitzinger), age 98, longtime resident of St. Paul Park, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2019.

Preceded in death by parents, Anton and Rose Heitzinger; siblings, Dorothy (Nick), Gertrude, Thomas (Mary Jo), and Robert. Survived by loving and devoted husband of 65 years, Richard I. Jones; children, Mark (Lori) Jones, Patti (Brett) Tibbs; grandson, Tommy Jones.

Lucille was a volunteer for Washington County Schools, teaching children how to sew T-shirt pillows. She was an avid reader as well as enjoyed sewing and putting jigsaw puzzles together. Lucille was a very personable and pleasant person who would always start a conversation.

Visitation 5-8 PM, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016, with visitation one hour prior to mass beginning at 9:30 AM Friday. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM, Friday, January 18, 2019 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park, MN, 55071. Interment to follow at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
