Louise Schilling

Louise E. Schilling (nee Nippoldt), age 96, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 18, 2018.

Preceded in death by infant son; parents, Edgar and Eva Nippoldt; siblings, Lucille Kernkamp, Rueben Nippoldt, and Dorotha Mahle. Survived by husband of 64 years, James; children, Joan (Andy) Decker, Joel (Yvonne Killeen), John (Debbie), and Jill Schilling; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Allen Nippoldt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to the staff at White Pines Assisted Living (Cottage Grove) for their loving care over the past 24 months and also to those at The Pillars Hospice for making the family’s journey peaceful.

Visitation 4-8 PM, Friday, January 26, 2018 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016 and continues at 10 AM on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the funeral home with Memorial Service beginning at 11 AM. Private family interment.
