Louise Marie was born August 15, 1910 in Manchester, Minnesota the daughter of William & Mary (Huber) Sippel. She was raised in Albert Lea and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1928. On November 18, 1942 she married Aino Kirby in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Aino worked many years for Boeing Aircraft and later for Burlington Northern from which he retired in 1975. During his career they lived in Montana, Kansas, Texas and Minnesota. After his death in 1976 she remained in their Woodbury home another 15 years.
Preceded in death by husband Aino in 1976; brothers Bob & Albert Sippel; sisters Laura Knudsen & Julia Hanson.
Survived by son John (Becky) of Cottage Grove; grandchildren Joe & Emily of Cottage Grove, Jessica (Adam) Kraemer of Mahtomedi, sister Irene Enstad of Albert Lea; sister-in-law Marge Sippel of Albert Lea.
Funeral Service 6 PM Tuesday June 13, 2006 at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80TH St. S. Cottage Grove (651-459-2875). Interment Ft. Snelling. Visitation 4-6 PM Tuesday at funeral home.
