Louis Poganski Jr., age 79 of Cottage Grove, died Thursday afternoon April 4, 2013.
Louis Albert Poganski was born April 14, 1933 in St. Cloud, the son of Louis & Anne (Spaniol) Poganski. He was raised in St. Cloud and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1951. On August 24, 1957 he was united in marriage with Bernadine Determan at the St. Cloud Cathedral. He served in the United States Navy. Lou enjoyed golf, fishing, and bowling. He was a member of the Cottage Grove Jaycees and an active Cottage Grove Lion.
Louis is the beloved husband of Bernie; loving father of Louis (Julie), Daniel, William (Grace), James (Sherry), Joel (Jannet), Gerard, Stephan (Doralie), Michael; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandsons; sisters-in-law Joyce & Jean; many nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers Victor, Leroy & Roger.
Visitation 4-8 PM Monday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80th St. Cottage Grove and 10-11 Tuesday at church. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday at ST RITA'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8694 80th St. S. Cottage Grove. Private interment. Memorials preferred.
