Louie Jeffrey Swartz Jr.

Louie Jeffrey Swartz Jr., age 61 of Minneapolis, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2024.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 4:00-10:00 pm at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Ave., St. Paul Park. The funeral service will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, August 4, 2024 at the funeral home with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will take place on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Newport Cemetery in Newport at 12:00 pm.

Louie loved his family and Rach, his girls and his grandkids were the center of his world. He loved his cousins like they were his brothers, and everyone knew that he was pretty patient... until he wasn't! He was known as having "The Swartz Temper".

He was a simple guy and there was nothing worse than a bad haircut and there was nothing better than a good plate of fresh seafood. He was a man who lived in Minnesota, his heart found it's home in the south.

He gave the best hugs and his girls found comfort in their dad's arms. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and will once again be united with his dad.

He is survived by his wife Rachel; daughters Chelsey (Jeremy) and Shelby (Nelson); grandchildren Shelby Faith, Baby Nelson, Jeremy Joshua, Noah Nehemiah Louie and Nevaeh; one brother Bruce. He is preceded in death by his parents Louie Sr. and Lorraine.
