Lorraine Sathra

Lorraine Sathra (nee Birk), age 96, of St. Paul Park, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 17, 2018.

Preceded in death by husband, John; parents, Joe and Marie Birk; siblings, Melvin Birk, Pat (Bob) Geronime, and Billy Birk. Survived by sons, James (Nancy), Ken (Mary), Bob (Linda), Mike, and Greg; daughters, Pat (Paul) Schaffer, Jeanne (Phil) Kangas, and Margaret (Richard) Jorgensen; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; aunt, Delores Horsch; and sister-in-law, Martha Birk. Lorraine was a longtime member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

She retired from 3M and enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all.

Visitation 4-7 PM, Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Ave., St. Paul Park, MN, 55071 and continues at church at 10 AM, Monday. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM, Monday, April 23, 2018 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park, MN, 55071. Interment at St. Thomas parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
