Lois Ann Harthaus, age 82 of Cottage Grove died Sunday February 10, 2013 at Eagle Crest in Roseville.
Lois was born August 20, 1930 in Lafayette Township the daughter of William & Elsie (Lieb) Portner. She was raised in Lafayette, Minnesota and graduated from New Ulm High School in 1948. On February 2, 1950 she was united in marriage with Carl "Bart" Harthaus. Lois enjoyed playing cards, traveling, sewing, tatting, crafts, puzzles and crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by husband Carl "Bart", parents, brother Marvin.
Lois is the beloved mother of Cheryl (Bruce) Warkentien, Robert (Mary); daughter-in-law Cheri; grandchildren Karen (Charlie) Oglesby, Kevin Warkentien, Brittney (Lucas) Brock, Courtney (Nate) Bennett, Vanessa; 4 great-grandchildren; sister Mildred (Stanley) Forst; sister-in-law Cyrilla Portner; many nieces & nephews; special friends Jackie VanderHeyden, George & Joyce Schiltz.
Visitation Thursday 5-8 PM at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80th St. S. Cottage Grove and 9:30-11 AM Friday at church. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 8694 80th St. Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery. Memorials to MS Society—MN Chapter.
