Lloyd Plaster

Lloyd R. Plaster (76) passed away on June 26, 2022, surrounded by his family after battling health issues. He is survived by his wife, Judy Blomgren, stepdaughter Nancy (Randy) Plung, stepson Tomas (Lori) Braucks, sons Scott (Janice) Plaster and Brian Plaster, two brothers, one sister, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. His parents, three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Lloyd was born in St Paul on October 11, 1945, to Walter and Lorraine Plaster. He graduated from Harding High School and served the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was proud of his service to his country. Lloyd was a kind person who went out of his way to help others. He loved fixing lawn mowers and snowblowers, working outside, and hanging with his sidekick, Teddy (dog). He had a heart for animals especially dogs; he housed and trained foster dogs. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors.

A celebration of life open house will be July 21 from 6-8 PM at Hastings Public House, 2015 Westview Drive, Hastings, MN. Internment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery will be in early August.
